What interests me most is the concept of edutainment. According to one designed article in our class wiki written by Krendl, Ware, Reid, and & Warren, entertainment programming is designed to exploit the opportunity of incidental learning (2004). That is to say, edutainment is quite different from traditional instruction, which is intended to help students acquire certain knowledge at a given moment. Another key factor of edutainment is about how to arouse students’ or young children’ interested and find ways or tools to keep them motivated. Only in this way the incidental learning can really happen.

Hi Shuo, interesting topic to explore. I think this could also link to gaming but is its own topic in and of itself. But you may find you have a branch related to gaming. Have you found any articles further exploring the topic?

I’m so sorry that I’ve just read your comments. Gaming is very important in my topic, but I’m a person who rarely touches video games. I’ve been exploring the articles about gaming for several days and find it really interesting and meaningful.
