Throughout my career as a teacher, many of the students I have met are not as youthful as they should be. Their biggest common characteristic is that they are not interested in almost anything. One exception is playing video games, which is particularly attractive to boys. Another is animation, which can successfully quickly catch the eyes of many students, especially those at an early age. Therefore, integrating these two elements that can fully attract students interests into the classroom and students’ extracurricular learning via the teaching technology can play a very good effect. However, edutainment is not only about making students happy and bringing fun to the classroom, but it also helps students gain learning and actively build their own knowledge. Meanwhile, there are three main media for spreading animation and games: computer, mobile phone and TV. On the other hand, the three kinds of media will interfere with students’ study to a large extent. Thus, how to optimize learning from edutainment and how teachers and parents should guide students is a very critical issue.
Although the use of multimedia teaching is becoming more and more popular, and the effect is obvious. With the gradual development of mobile phones, teachers’ teaching methods cannot attract students in many cases, and students’ attention is often focused on mobile phones. If students are forbidden to play with mobile phones, the learning effect will not be very good.
In the classroom, if the convenience and edutainment of smart phones can be made full use of, it is a good way to improve the teacher-student interaction and teaching quality. In addition, students can make good use of the fragmented time in their spare time to make up for the weakness in the existing teaching environment.
Yes!! I am also very interested in mobile education technology, it does have two sides. I think your brainstorming is very helpful for your theme. Looking forward to your final theme
